| Item ID= 16 | The "CC Plus" bench burner is a new large capacity bench burner introduced to fill the demand for ever increasing larger glass working requirements. The pre-mixed center fire and surface-mix outer fire are similar to the "CC" design, however capable of passing twice the amount of gas, hydrogen and oxygen. (170 cubic feet/hr. gas and 320 cubic feet/hr. oxygen.) The new high capacity design is ideal for working quartz and larger applications requiring precisely controlled high heat intensity while still maintaining quiet operation.<br><br>Technologies change and the Carlisle "CC Plus" bench burner with aluminum heat exchanger is designed to provide the improved performance and ease of operation required by todays more demanding glass and quartz fabrication. Incorporating the best features of the Carlisle "CC" Bench Burner, which has long been the standard of the industry, this unit is fitted with an aluminum heat exchanger which substantially reduces heat build-up. The aluminum heat exchanger which is now standard is also available separately and can be easily field installed on existing "CC Plus" Bench Burners. The stainless steel outer casing also has a more tapered head that gives it less of a surface area to absorb heat and allows the operator to work more closely to the burner tip. This feature is now standard on all of the "CC Plus" models. Additionally, all standard models have stainless steel separator rings instead of brass. |
