| Item ID= 47 | Manufactured from 22 oz. basket weave blend of Kevlar and polybenzimidazole (PBI). PBI was originally developed for NASAs project Apollo in answer to the need for a higher level of thermal protection. It does not burn in air, melt or emit toxic fumes. Has excellent resistance to chemicals and solvents. Protects up to 1700°F. Use in glass and sheet metal manufacturing/handling, steel mills, foundries and welding. |
